I heard about that this morning. Apparently a group of breastfeeding mothers rallied at Burlington International Airport and breastfed their babies to make a point this morning.

As if they aren't in enough financial trouble. How absurd...

In Vermont? I could understand Alabama but hello, VT? They got civil unions there!
I breastfed one of my guys on a flight from Miami with a gay couple who looked utterly (udderly?) miserable. But they had the good graces to just stew about it and not have me kicked off the plane.

I heard about this on another blog. Ridiculous.
Apparently the sight of a breast being used for its intended purpose makes people's undies get in a bunch. But it's fine to see breasts on tv...as long as there isn't a baby attached.

ugh, so annoying. I couldn't get over to read the story, but can't think of any circumstances under which this would be OK! I've nursed in parks, restaurants, planes, airports, stores, businesses, wherever. If you don't like it, MYOB!
Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day!

Soccer Mom- Yeah I was equally intrigued about the fact that it happened in VT, since I used to live there. It's a really progressive state and it surprised me, too. But I'm thinking that the flight attendant who was guilty of being so appalled was perhaps not from the area or something? I can't believe how uptight people are about nursing for goodness sakes!! How do people think the human race survived before the invention of formula? It really speaks volumes.
